Adult & Senior Eye Exams
In your Sphere eye exam, our optometrists evaluate the overall health of your eyes and visual system to identify, treat, and manage any developing conditions, and we truly enjoy our role as the bridge between your ocular and full-body health.
To maintain optimal eye health and vision, we recommend that healthy adults schedule an eye exam with an optometrist every year. We encourage parents to bring their children in for their first exam by 6 months of age, and annually after that.
For more complex patients or concerns, your optometrist may recommend a more customized schedule.
Children’s Eye Exams
Children’s eyes grow and change quickly. Their eyesight is incredibly important, because 80% of what they learn in the early years is gained through their vision.
Some children’s eye conditions (like nearsightedness) develop before they can explain what’s wrong, while others develop later as your child’s eyes grow. That’s why we’re so diligent when it comes to eye exams for our youngest patients.
During your child’s eye exams, we monitor their vision development and manage their eye health to support a lifetime of healthy vision.
We recommend scheduling their first exam at 6 months and then yearly after that.
Please bring your child’s Alberta Health Care card to their appointment.
