History

VERY FRENCH GANGSTERS was founded in France in 2012 by Karoline Bothorel-Bolzinger and Anne Masanet, who describe themselves as glasses addicts. Their vision was to produce prescription eyewear and sunglasses for children between the ages of three and ten. They wanted to create “a universe of nice gangsters” through their eyewear designs that focus on rebellious, funny, and contemporary styles.

Over time, the brand was established as a fashion-forward children’s eyewear brand and expanded their offering to ages three to twelve years. VERY FRENCH GANGSTERS pieces are known for their quality, technical characteristics (using Mazzuccelli acetate, polarized lenses, flex hinges, and silicone terminals), and variety of colourways.

All VERY FRENCH GANGSTER collections are handmade in France.
